- The Accommodation is rented on a Saturday to Saturday basis from 4.00pm (unless another day has been previously arranged). Visitors are requested to vacate the premises by 10.00am on the day of their departure to allow access to the changeover staff.
- Bookings are accepted on the basis of a non refundable deposit being paid at the time of booking. The balance is payable in full not less than 6 weeks before arrival. We also require a security deposit of €200 (cash) to cover damage/breakages, to be paid on arrival. This deposit will be returned at the end of stay if there are no mishaps.
- Although occupancy is covered by normal house insurance, no liability can be accepted for any mishap or injuries occurring on the premises. This is of particular importance to the swimming pool and the lake and therefore all children under the age of 16 must be under adult supervision. It should be noted that the swimming pool conforms to French safety regulations.
- Cleaning – visitors are requested to leave their accommodation in as clean condition as they find it on their arrival. In the event that extra cleaning is required following departure, the cost of this may be deducted from the deposit before return. Strictly no smoking in any of the premises or near the swimming pool. We do not object to smoking outside, but you are asked not to drop cigarette ends in the grounds.
- Insurance and cancellation – we do advise people to take out insurance with a cancellation clause. In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to retain the full balance payment if we are unable to re-let the property.
- A local Tourism tax ( Taxe de sejour) is payable on your arrival, we will contact you before your arrival with the amount payable.
- No animals allowed.
- Swimming Pool – the pool is open May to September (or April to October – weather dependent).
- Electric vehicles must not be charged using electricity from the gite/property. Our insurance does not cover us for this facility. Please make sure you are aware of nearest charging stations before arrival.
- Les Carrieres Gites & Fishing Holidays cannot be held responsible if the Government or local laws forbid the use of water for pool maintenace, therefore forcing closure of the pool on the premises.
